Jason Bateman and Rachael McAdams play a highly-competitive couple who enjoy the titular times with a group of friends. One nite’s event turns wrong, resulting in mayhem and comedy. There are a few genuinely funny situations, but the film’s strongest asset is Bateman’s dry-panic delivery. Almost everything he says gets a laff. The rest of the cast does fine, but the only other comic standout is Billy Magnussen as the dumb blonde. The film is well paced and has a few twists to keep it fun. NOTE: Stay thru the credits for one final punch line.
