"For years I’ve had a rep as one of the community’s most voracious gossips, so I figured,’Why not take advantage of it?’” That’s how Jerry Williams say his “production poop” website was born. Capitalizing on contacts made in nine years as a writer/director of long-form videos and commercials, Williams has launched “Tales From The Grips.”

The website located at , features the following: “personnel changes, equipment upgrades, latest projects, meeting notices, personal announcements, hearsay, dirt.” Williams is soliciting input on those topics from production companies, freelancers and advertising agencies.

“I update it at least every Monday,” says Williams, “but the hot poop goes on immediately.” The deadline for non-hot stuff is Friday at noon. Submissions should be made to Williams by phone (358-5320), fax (355-1547) or e-mail .
