A SPECIAL RECIPE
Last year, I turned the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner on its ear with a “music video” version of their annual report video (featuring 3 local bands). This year’s event had to top that.
That’s where BizSkit came to play. Partner Garet Chester created 11 characters on screen to interact with himself live on stage. Each person handled a different part of the report: Clint Eastwood took on crime and public safety, Mr. Rogers addressed youth issues, three Star Trek characters talked about area transportation…you get the idea.
The Chamber’s own marketing director, Antony Coukos, showed up on set to provide his makeup expertise (teasing up Marge Simpson’s wig, added chubby cheeks to Tatoo, etc). After a full day of shooting, I added music and graphics to punch up the videos.
The audience loved it! We presented a lot of statistics and information in an enjoyable, often funny package. Jack Nicholson even made a brief stage appearance to top off the evening.
