BIZSKIT STARTS COOKIN’
In 2003, Garet Chester and I formed BizSkit (short for Business Skits). Two of our biggest jobs took us to Cancun and St. Kitt’s for SunTrust Mortgage.
The event in Mexico had an Incan adventure theme. Who better to host it than Indiana Jones? We wrote sketches to open each meeting and have fun with the senior management. Garet donned the fedora and bullwhip, while I created the interactive video segments and directed the live show.
The company’s theme in St. Kitt’s was “To Boldly Go,” so you can guess where we went with that one. Garet donned a bad wig and Star Trek togs as Capt. Kirk to communicate with his on-screen characterizations of Spock, Scotty and Bones. Expanding the sci-fi theme, we had a “Star Wars” battle and “ET” made an appearance (all Garet, of course).
