LYING DOWN ON THE JOB
The Carpenter Company is one of the world’s largest makers of foam. When their Creative Director Matt Brown decided to market their visco-elastic pillows at J C Penney stores, Park Group got the job.
I was hired to write, direct and edit the point-of-purchase display. We created a simple, clean look to match Penney’s packaging. Jennifer Pulley (the nTelos girl) spent the best part of a morning pretending to sleep in comfort. In actuality, the soft lights didn’t provide much warmth, so we had to be careful not to let her goose bumps show.
Meredith Strange-Boston gave a relaxing, warm read to the Voiceover and I did all the post in the Avid. The 90-second piece was dubbed to a one-hour loop and should start appearing in 500 stores around the country.
