MAKING MEDICAL HISTORY
More than 50 interviews with physicians discussing Richmond’s medical growth: That was the starting point for an hour-plus presentation. The Richmond Academy of Medicine wanted to create an oral history and needed to dress it up for a visual audience.
We started with more than two hours of selected clips and honed it down from there. I created a medical themed background with different colors for each subject (diversity, Vietnam, etc). Clients Deb Love, George Wood and Jody Koste amassed hundreds of photographs and documents to combine with music and animated graphics. The final product is an informative and entertaining look at historic turning points in modern medicine.
