MAKING THE MOST OF ONE LOCATION
Dann Hall of Hall and Partners has used me to conceive, direct and edit a number of spots. The most recent job was for Reliacare, a company that specializes in medical equipment for the home.
We decided to show their home delivery in action. Since the budget was tight (isn’t it always?), we didn’t have time to shoot at different houses. Luckily, the client’s house had several looks (a traditional living room, a contemporary add-on, etc), so we used creative staging to make one location do the job of four. Having a variety of patients rounded out the illusion.
To tell their story, I interviewed the company’s four primary players and cut their bites into five final spots. The patient footage added visual variety and covered the cuts.
