NASCAR ON ICE
Early in 2010, it was announced that NASCAR driver Greg Biffle had signed a sponsorship deal with Red Man Moist Snuff. I was called by Sandy Fowler-Jones, Director of PR from Swedish Match, to help announce it.
We traveled to Nashville during the record-breaking cold spell in January. In the middle of the night, the water froze up in the hotel. Then, the electricity went out during breakfast. Still, we managed to make it to the Baker Curb Racing facility, where we shot the interview with Biffle.
A few quick hours on my Avid (back in balmy Richmond) and the announcement was ready for the company’s global portal.
