PROUD BITES

For the fifth year in a row, I’ve worked with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce to help make their Annual Dinner a memorable and fun night, (See “A Special Recipe” in 2005 for a look at the BizSkit show.)

Our goal this year was to throw a party: Hire a salsa band! Give away prizes! Gone is the numbing drone of execs on camera and stupefying statistics. Since the theme was Civic Pride, we decided to take it to the streets (Well, the Convention Center).

Charles Tinsley shot the 2-question interviews at BizLinc and I compiled a five-minute montage of Richmond’s best attributes, broken up by high style graphic “accolades” of the area. The audience loved the high-energy result.

Oh yes, the Impact Awards are the finale of the evening, so I produced the profiles of the five finalists.  All of the videos were linked from the Chamber’s website to my server, where folks could relive the excitement (or see them for the first time).
