SERVICE FROM 4 ANGLES
Training videos on good service are pretty common. I’ve produced 10 projects for AMF Bowling with Park Group, so this one had to keep our winning streak.
Since a lot of the information is common sense, the packaging had to sell it. We started with a customer’s bowling experience shot from their point-of-view. When leaving the bowling center, the customer is stopped by a man (Scott Wichman) conducting a survey and he became the “narrator.”
To relate good service at work to the viewer’s personal life, we staged a group of parallel scenes in an employee’s apartment. Additional scenes with a school teacher (Jan Guarino) emphasized important points and added humor.
Sounds complicated, but it all flowed smoothly and delivered the message in a fast-paced, upbeat package.
