SWIFFERING AT WALMART
Fans of TLC’s “Trading Spaces” will have a reason to visit Walmart in April. With every Swiffer Max purchased, they can receive a free CD that features decorating tips and other fun stuff from the sponsors.
How am I involved? Thanks to a call from Greg Grantham at Powerpact, I enjoyed helping create this cool project. The highlight was the shoot in New York City that featured the show’s designer Genevieve Gorder in front of a green screen.
We used footage from the show, along with a colorful background created by Park Group’s Dave Swain to giver her a background. In addition to her decorating tips, the CD featured participant’s reactions to their new rooms and Before/After footage of room transformations.
Park’s new media guy, Steve Bishop, did the programming in Flash and the clients have been “swept” away by the results.
