Last Thursday I was home editing when the doorbell rang. I tiptoed to the peephole (in case it was a solicitor), but found a harmless looking young man. Turns out it was local editor-turning-director Matt West, scouting for a 50ish house. He liked the look of our block (4800 Monument) and approached my house because of the Obama sign. He and Mark Mervis are shooting a project on Mark’s Vistavision camera, which Fuji film is planning to feature in their next magazine. They ended up using a different house down the block, but not before the gear was set up in my front yard. Click here to visit the Photo Gallery. (Thanks to Kera O’Bryon & Andrew Uvarov for snapping the fotos.)
